Environmental Alert (EA) is a Non-government Organization that envisions, ‘resilient and dignified communities, managing their environment and natural resources sustainably.’ EA’s mission is to, ‘advocate for an enabling environment, sustainable natural resource management and food security frameworks for targeted communities through empowerment and policy engagement.’ This is achieved through implementation of programmes under Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Environment and Natural Resources and Food Security.
EA has been a member and host of the Uganda Forestry Working Group (UFWG) since 2001. UFWG awarded EA with a certificate of recognition in appreciation for the service rendered.
