“Strengthening Coordination among different sectors involved in land use for sustainable forest resources management”. The UFWG desires to become a source of technical support and advice to a variety of stakeholders. Thus, it contribution towards sustainable forestry resources management will be demand driven and also in response to issues at hand.

About UWFG

The Uganda Forestry Working Group (UFWG) is a network of forestry stakeholders composed of multidisciplinary membership that cuts across several sectors of development. Current members include: National NGOs, Community Based Organisations, Community Based Organisations, Forest Resource User Associations, Academia and research institutions as well as individual members engaged in the development and sustainability of the forestry sector in Uganda.
