    a) Value addition: by generating and disseminating information and knowledge about forestry governance issues, providing high quality support services and advice.
    b) Working with or through strategic partners and allies: by identifying and collaborating with institutions who provide advantage to UFWG e.g., parliament, CSO coalitions, Private Sector, etc.
    c) Broad based action: through, mobilizing more members at all levels, empowering and effectively engaging members in joint actions.
    d) Building a strong and effective UFWG network: that would earn credibility and be recognized as a lead player.
